Saturday 25 September
The Bluetits are joining in with the St David Peninsula Great Big Green Week by organising a swim at Newgale beach on Saturday 25 September at 4pm. As you dip in the sea, everyone can think about climate change and how we can all help to protect out amazing planet!
Everyone is welcome and first time Bluetit dippers/swimmers will receive a Bluetit badge to welcome them to the Bluetits.
Meeting point: Meet on the pebbles opposite the Duke of Edinburgh pub.
Kit: Bring a towel, warm clothes/coat/hat, hot drinks and snacks for after the swim. Wear whatever you are comfortable in – swimsuit, rash vest/leggins, wetsuit!
Everyone who joins makes their own decision to get into the water and is responsible for their own safety. Any children under 18 years must be fully supervised and accompanied by an adult in the water at all times. Getting into the cold water usually involves lots of squealing, shouting, laughter and swearing and we would not want to cause any offense!
This event is FREE and you can just turn up.
This event will be cancelled if sea conditions are in any way dangerous.
