Garden plans revealed on Zoom!

We really enjoyed leading a Community Zoom call on Tuesday 23rd March, with a wide group of locals including community councillors, community group leaders and other interested representatives of organisations and residents. Jeremy Wadia from EcoDewi and Rev Sophie Whitmarsh from St Davids Cathedral hosted the call to raise awareness of Erw Dewi / Dewi’s Acre community garden and highlight how community groups might be able to get involved.

Attendees included St Davids County Councillor (Cllr David Lloyd), representatives from the St Davids City Council including the Mayor (Cllr Bira Sehmi), the new Dewisland People’s Shed, Brush Strikes art group, Farms for City Children, Menevia WI, Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi and St Davids Community Forum. Everyone heard about exactly where the garden is, the journey so far, our exciting layout plan (see below) and how people can get involved, before some good questions and discussions. Great to highlight the garden even more and hopefully to inspire people to visit and get involved.
